What This Privacy Policy
Covers
- This policy covers how St. John Associates treats
personal information that St. John Associates collects and receives,
including information related to your past use of St. John Associates
products and services. Personal information is information about you that is
personally identifiable like your name, address, email address, or phone
number, and that is not otherwise publicly available.

companies that St. John Associates does not own or control, or to people that

- St. John Associates collects personal information
when you place an inquiry with St. John Associates or when you purchase St.

your name, organization, email address, mailing address, phone number and
interests. Once you provide this information to St. John Associates you are
not anonymous to us and this privacy policy applies to you.

relationship with us including when you contacted us, what information you
requested and what (if any) products/services you purchased from us.
- St. John Associates automatically receives and
records information in our web server logs from your browser, including your
IP address, St. John Associates cookie information (if used) and pages you
request/view.
- St. John Associates uses information for the
following general purposes: to customize the advertising and content you see on our site,
fulfill your requests for products and services, improve our services,
contact you and conduct research.
UCE/Spam
- St. John Associates also respects your right to not receive UCE (Unsolicited Commercial Email, or "spam"), junk faxes and junk mail. We will fulfill your requests for information only once electronically, and we will follow up only twice with hard copy (i.e., mailings) thereafter. If you choose to provide electronic contact information such as an email address or fax number, rest assured that we will not use this contact information more than once per inquiry and, as stated above, we will never disclose this information to third parties.
Children
- St. John Associates does not market products or
services to children under the age of 13.
- St. John Associates does not store personally
identifiable information about children under the age of 13.
- St. John Associates will not communicate with, market
to or conduct business with children under the age of 13 without verifiable
parental consent.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
- St. John Associates does not rent, sell, or share
personal information about you with other people or nonaffiliated companies
except to provide products or services you've requested, when we have your
permission, or under the following circumstances:
- We provide the information to trusted partners who
work on behalf of or with St. John Associates under confidentiality
agreements. These companies may use your personal information to help St.
John Associates fulfill your requests for information, products or services

the targeting criteria - for example, analytical chemists from a particular

information to the advertiser when you interact with or view a targeted ad.
However, by interacting with or viewing an ad you are consenting to the
possibility that the advertiser will make the assumption that you meet the
targeting criteria used to display the ad.

industry related to instruments sales, including but not limited to lab
supply vendors, publishers, and contract service providers. Additionally,
our advertisers may include non-industry-related companies offering products
and services of general interest.

- St. John Associates may set and access St. John
Associates cookies on your computer. Cookies we may use include "session
cookies" (which disappear once you close your browser) or "persistent
cookies" (which remain in you browser's cache between visits).
- St. John Associates does not allow its advertisers to
place or access cookies on your computer.
Your Ability to Edit/Delete Your Contact Information
- You can edit, update or delete your information in
St. John Associates’ databases at any time by sending an email to from our
contact page or by
writing our headquarters in Beltsville, Maryland. Please note that change
requests may take up to 10 business days to take effect.

- We limit access to personal information about you to
employees who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that
information to provide products or services to you or in order to do their
jobs.
